On January 17, 2025, the first of many planned nodes was brought online to provide AREDN (Amateur Radio Emergency Data Network) services in Fremont County.  FCACS has adopted Mikrotik as its preferred brand of equipment due to its incredible reliability combined with extremely low costs.  Four more nodes are planned for deployment by the end of January, 2025.
